Linux System Hardening & Security Operations Incident Response & Threat Hunting (Linux) Vulnerability Assessment & Pentesting (Linux) Identity & Access Management (PAM, LDAP, SSSD) Container & Cloud Security (Docker, Kubernetes) Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect Kiffcom's Linux-based digital infrastructure, containerized applications, and networks from cyber threats.
- Manage and optimize all security detection tools, Linux firewall configurations (iptables/nftables), and intrusion prevention systems.
- Analyze performance metrics and system/security logs (syslog, journald, auditd) daily to identify vulnerabilities, detect anomalies, and adjust defensive strategies in real-time.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to integrate security best practices, DevSecOps pipelines (Docker/Kubernetes security),



and secure coding guidelines.
- Oversee audit initiatives, including internal Linux vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and risk assessments.
- Maintain the security budget with precision, ensuring maximum efficiency and high return on security tool investments.

Must have

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a dedicated Linux cybersecurity or Linux system security engineering role.
- Proven track record of managing successful threat mitigation and incident response in Linux environments.
- Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken) to coordinate with the Canadian market.
- Ability to work evening/night shifts consistent with Canadian business hours.

Nice to have

- Certifications in Linux/Security: LFCS (Linux Foundation Certified Sysadmin), Linux+, OSCP, CISSP, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or cloud security credentials.
- Experience in the B2B SaaS or technology sector.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and infrastructure-as-code security (Terraform, Ansible).
- Fluency in French or other European languages.
