Credera, trading as TA Digital, is a global consulting firm that combines transformational consulting capabilities, deep industry knowledge, and AI and technology expertise to deliver valuable customer experiences and accelerated growth across a broad range of industries worldwide. The company's one-of-a-kind global boutique approach means it provides clients with tailored solutions unique to their organization that can scale due to its extensive footprint. As a values-led organization, the mission is to make an extraordinary impact on clients, people, and community.
Credera is part of the OPMG Group of Companies, a division of Omnicom Group Inc. With over two thousand consultants across the globe, the company partners with clients ranging from long-time market leaders to emerging companies, providing strategy through execution to achieve tangible business results.
Credera is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure and Automation Engineer to support and improve the stability, security, and automation of the infrastructure estate across VMware and Azure environments. The role will focus on enhancing patch management processes, supporting Azure DevOps and Terraform deployment pipelines, and automating infrastructure scanning activities to improve operational efficiency. You will be an integral part of the infrastructure and platform team, working on projects that directly impact the reliability and security of enterprise-scale systems across multiple client engagements.
In this role, you will review and improve patch management processes across VMware and Azure environments. You will analyze current patching schedules, identify gaps in coverage, and implement automation to reduce patch backlog and improve lifecycle management. You will work with both Windows Server and Linux-based systems, ensuring that all virtual machines and cloud instances are up to date with the latest security patches and compliance requirements.
You will develop and maintain automated patching workflows that can be deployed consistently across different environments and client projects.
You will support and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) and Terraform pipelines used for infrastructure deployments. This includes designing new pipeline stages, troubleshooting and resolving pipeline issues, debugging deployment failures, and addressing configuration challenges that arise during infrastructure provisioning. You will work with Infrastructure as Code practices, writing and maintaining Terraform modules that define repeatable and version-controlled infrastructure configurations.
You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure that CI/CD pipelines are optimized for speed, reliability, and security.
You will review current infrastructure scanning processes and identify opportunities for automation. This involves evaluating existing manual scanning workflows, understanding the compliance and security requirements behind them, and implementing automated scanning and reporting solutions that improve both efficiency and audit readiness. You will build dashboards and reporting mechanisms that give stakeholders visibility into the health and compliance posture of the infrastructure estate.
You will work closely with infrastructure and platform teams to drive operational improvements and automation initiatives. This includes participating in architecture discussions, contributing to runbooks and documentation, and mentoring junior team members on infrastructure best practices. You will also be involved in incident response and root cause analysis, helping the team build more resilient systems over time.
This role operates on a hybrid work model where employees have the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. You will spend three days per week in person with the flexibility to choose the days and times that work best for both you and your project or internal teams. This could be at a Credera office or at the client site.
You will work closely with your project team to align on how you balance both the flexibility that the company wants to provide with the connection of being together to produce amazing results for clients.
The company is passionate about growing its people both personally and professionally. The philosophy is that in-person engagement is critical for the ability to develop deep relationships with clients and team members. It is how they earn trust, learn from others, and ultimately become better consultants and professionals.
Most projects do not require significant travel, though certain projects can require frequent travel up to eighty percent for a period of time. The average travel percentage over a year for team members is typically between ten and thirty percent. You will submit your travel preferences which the staffing teams will consider when aligning you to a role.
Credera will never ask for money upfront and will not use apps such as Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, or Google Hangouts for communicating with you. You should be very wary of, and carefully scrutinize, any job opportunity that asks for money prior to starting or where all communications take place exclusively via chat.
