Role: Manager - Corporate Communications

Location: Pune (HO)

Role context and purpose:

The role will be part of the Human Resources team at ElasticRun and will play a key role in strengthening employee communication, leadership connect, organisational alignment and the company's employer brand.

The role will work closely with the HR Head, Founders, Business Heads, HRBPs and functional leaders to translate business and people priorities into clear, relevant and engaging communication for employees.

The primary responsibility will be to build and manage a strong internal communication ecosystem, ensuring employees understand what is happening across the organisation, why it matters and what is expected from them.

The role will also manage selected external communication and employer branding initiatives, working closely with external PR/creative agencies and internal stakeholders.

This is a hands-on role requiring a combination of strategic thinking, strong storytelling, stakeholder management and excellent execution. We are looking for a strong communication professional who understands people and business, rather than a traditional PR professional.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Internal & Employee Communications:

Leadership & Business Communication

- Partner with the HR Head, Founders and Business Heads to develop impactful employee communication.
- Translate business priorities, organisational developments and leadership messages into simple and engaging communication.
- Prepare communication material for town halls, leadership connects and other employee forums.
- Develop leadership talking points, presentations, FAQs, announcements and communication toolkits.
- Ensure consistency of messaging across employee groups and communication channels.

Communication Channels & Content

- Manage the internal communication calendar.
- Develop employee newsletters, announcements, articles, videos/scripts, presentations and other communication assets.
- Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of existing communication channels.
- Build templates, guidelines and communication frameworks for HR and business teams.

Employee Engagement & Culture

- Own communication for employee engagement initiatives, campaigns and cultural programs.
- Develop communication for town halls, HR connects, recognition programs and employee events.
- Identify and showcase employee stories,



business achievements and best practices.
- Build campaigns that improve awareness and participation in key HR initiatives.

Change & Transformation Communication

- Build communication plans for organisational changes and transformation initiatives.
- Develop communication journeys covering awareness → understanding → adoption → reinforcement.
- Create FAQs, manager toolkits and employee communication packs.
- Work with HRBPs and business leaders to anticipate employee questions and concerns.
- Support sensitive organisational communication with the right messaging, tone and empathy.

2. External Communications & Employer Branding

External Corporate Communication

- Support selected corporate communication initiatives in partnership with the HR Head and relevant business leaders.
- Coordinate with PR agencies for press releases, media opportunities, company announcements and leadership visibility.
- Support preparation of media briefs, talking points, fact sheets and leadership profiles.
- Coordinate internal inputs and ensure timely closure of external communication requirements.
- Track relevant media coverage and communication outcomes.

Employer Branding

- Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR teams to strengthen ElasticRun's employer brand.
- Develop and curate stories around people, culture, employee experiences, leadership and business success.
- Support employer branding across social, digital, campus and industry platforms.
- Develop content for career pages, LinkedIn and other relevant employer-brand channels.
- Support participation in industry awards, forums and employer-brand initiatives.

Agency Management

- Manage day-to-day relationships with PR, creative, design, digital and content agencies.
- Create clear briefs and manage timelines, quality and deliverables.
- Ensure agency output is aligned with ElasticRun's brand and HR/employer-brand priorities.
- Track communication projects, budgets and deliverables.

What Will You Need?

- Postgraduate qualification in Communications, Journalism, Mass Communication,



Public Relations, Marketing, Human Resources or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Internal/Employee Communications, HR Communications, Employer Branding, PR or related fields.
- Experience working closely with HR leadership, senior stakeholders and business teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent storytelling ability.
- Ability to understand complex business and people issues and convert them into simple communication.
- Strong stakeholder management and project execution skills.
- Experience managing communication campaigns end-to-end.
- Exposure to PR/media relations and external communication.
- Experience managing PR/creative agencies.
- Experience in a startup, high-growth, technology, logistics or consumer organisation is preferred.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
