Junior Design Engineer – GT Solve
GT Solve is looking for a Junior Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Vandalur, Chennai.
If you’re a fresher or have 1-2 year of experience and are passionate about mechanical /automotive / aerospace design, CAD, and engineering automation, we’d love to hear from you!
? What You’ll Work On
- Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings
- Work with GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and engineering design principles
- Modify existing designs based on engineering requirements
- Explore CAD automation and scripting to improve design workflows
- Develop and test simple scripts to automate repetitive engineering tasks
⭐ What We’re Looking ForCAD – Major Focus
- Strong proficiency in Siemens UG NX 12+ — highly preferred
- Experience with Dassault CATIA V5/V6 / ENOVIA will also be considered
Engineering Fundamentals
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes:
- Casting | Molding | Sheet Metal | Machining
- Basic understanding of GD&T; and tolerance stack-up analysis
Programming & Automation
- Basic Python knowledge
- Familiarity with os, sys, or CAD-specific APIs is a plus
- Foundational understanding of NX Open, CATIA VBA/CAA, or macro recording
? Who Can Apply?
- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma (+3 years) in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering
- Freshers are welcome
- Certification in UG NX / CATIA / GD&T; is a major plus
- Immediate joiners preferred
