Job Responsibilities

- Analyze, design, develop, debug, and enhance software applications.

- Participate in requirement gathering, system design, and technical discussions.

- Prepare technical specifications based on business requirements.

- Develop, test, and maintain applications using COBOL and related technologies.

- Support application enhancements, issue resolution, and production support activities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and client-reported issues.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in COBOL development.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and writing basic to intermediate SQL queries.

- Experience in application support, maintenance, and enhancement projects.

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.





- Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with HP NonStop/Tandem workplace.

- Knowledge of HP Tandem utilities such as FUP, TACL, Pathway, and Batchcom.

- Experience with C++.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
