At NiCE, we don’t limit our challenges. We challenge our limits. Always. We’re ambitious. We’re game changers. And we play to win. We set the highest standards and execute beyond them. And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.
How Will You Make an Impact?
- Cloud Architecture &
- Design: Define the target architecture for AWS environments across multiple accounts and regions, covering landing zones, networking, identity, compute, storage and data services. Produce transparent architecture documents, decision records and diagrams.
- Resilience &
- Disaster Recovery: Design high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, set RTO and RPO targets with stakeholders, and lead failover design and testing.
- Kubernetes Platform Architecture: Own the architecture of large-scale Amazon EKS platforms, including cluster topology, networking (VPC CNI and IP planning), storage, upgrade strategy, scaling and workload isolation.
- Infrastructure as Code Strategy: Set standards for Terraform module design, state management, environment promotion and drift control, and ensure infrastructure is repeatable, reviewable and auditable.
- Automation &
- Configuration Management: Define automation patterns using Ansible, Helm and Python to remove manual work, and guide teams in building them.
- Security &
- Compliance by Design: Embed security into architecture and pipelines: least-privilege IAM, network segmentation, encryption, secrets management, and compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Cost Optimization (FinOps): Architect cost visibility and optimization into the platform through tagging standards,
right-sizing, storage tiering and lifecycle policies, and automated detection and remediation of waste.
- Monitoring &
- Observability: Define the monitoring, logging and alerting architecture so that issues are detected early and incident response is fast and consistent.
- Migration &
- Modernization: Lead the design and execution approach for cloud migrations and platform modernization, including cutover planning, validation and rollback.
- Technical Leadership &
- Mentoring: Review designs and changes, resolve complex high-impact technical issues, and mentor engineers. Partner with development, professional services, security and operations teams to turn requirements into working solutions.
- Change Discipline: Reinforce safe change practices, such as IaC plan reviews and change advisory processes, so production changes are controlled and auditable.
- Emerging Technology: Evaluate new AWS services and tools, including automation and AI-assisted operations, and lead their adoption where they add value.

- Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration and application deployment.
- Strong Python skills (6+ years) for automation and tooling.
- Experience designing disaster recovery and high-availability solutions, and defining RTO and RPO targets.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging and alerting platforms and practices.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration and network troubleshooting skills.
