Company Description Make My House (MMH) is a collaborative team of architects, civil engineers, interior designers, and software engineers who are passionate about turning design concepts into well-built, beautiful homes. MMH offers a large, freely browsable collection of house plans and elevations that can be easily converted into complete drawing sets for construction. These drawings help clients proceed with building their homes without necessarily hiring separate design professionals, or they can be used alongside existing architectural plans for more options.

MMH also provides fully customized house plans at a fraction of traditional costs, supporting clients in making well-informed decisions for one of the most significant projects in their lives.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Indore.

The Civil

Engineer will be responsible for structural design and analysis of residential projects, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Daily activities include reviewing architectural and interior layouts, preparing and checking structural drawings, coordinating with architects, designers, and contractors, and resolving technical issues that arise during planning and construction. The role involves conducting site visits as needed, assessing construction quality, verifying adherence to approved drawings,



and providing practical engineering solutions.

The Civil

Engineer will also contribute to process improvements, support the development of effective design workflows, and assist in optimizing material usage and costs.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in civil engineering principles, including structural analysis and design for residential buildings.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, structural design software) and comfort working with digital drawings and documentation.
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and construction practices, with the ability to apply them to practical site conditions.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (architects, interior designers, contractors) and managing technical communication effectively.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety, quality, and cost-efficiency.
- Ability to work on-site in Indore, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; prior experience in residential or housing projects is an advantage.
- Familiarity with project management basics, site supervision, and quality control processes is beneficial.
