We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to work side by side with the founders, turn strategy into execution and help shape the next chapter of the company.
Role SummaryThe COO will own end-to-end operations across projects, sales, collections and customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is equally comfortable in the boardroom and on the ground. The COO will translate the founders' vision into explicit plans, timelines and measurable goals, and build the teams, processes and reporting systems needed to scale.
Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Operations
- Lead and oversee operations across project execution, sales, collections and customer experience.
- Ensure all functions work in a coordinated way with clear accountability and ownership.
- Resolve cross-functional bottlenecks and keep operations running smoothly as the company scales.
2. Strategy to Execution
- Convert the founders' vision into clear plans, timelines and measurable goals (KPIs/OKRs).
- Drive annual and quarterly business planning and track progress against targets.
- Ensure strategic priorities are cascaded and delivered across all teams.

Delivery
- Drive on-time, on-budget and quality-compliant delivery of all projects and township developments.
- Establish project governance, milestone tracking and regular review mechanisms.
- Oversee coordination with contractors, consultants, vendors and approving authorities.
4. Sales and Collections
- Work with sales leadership to improve conversion, pipeline health and sales velocity.
- Strengthen collections processes and cash-flow discipline.
- Ensure alignment between project progress, sales commitments and customer payments.

- Build a customer-first culture that reflects the trust families place in Vastu Vihar.
- Improve responsiveness, transparency and service quality from booking to possession and after-sales.
- Track customer satisfaction and use feedback to improve processes.
6. Team Building and Processes
- Build, mentor and retain a high-performing leadership and operations team.
- Design and implement SOPs, systems and MIS/reporting frameworks that support scale.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
7. Efficiency and Cost Discipline
- Drive cost control, procurement efficiency and productivity improvements across projects.
- Monitor budgets, margins and operating metrics, and take corrective action early.
- Reduce delays, rework and wastage through better planning and controls.
8. Growth and Leadership
- Partner with the founders on growth, expansion and key business decisions.
- Evaluate new projects, locations and opportunities with sound commercial and operational analysis.
- Represent the company with partners, investors, authorities and other key stakeholders as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- MBA / PGP from an IIM.
- 12+ years of industry experience, including experience in a Founder's Office role.
- Proven track record of strategy and execution, with demonstrated impact in scaling a business.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large, complex operations.
