: Chief of Staff - Investments & Multi-Family Office

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Chief of Staff - Investments & Multi-Family Office to work closely with the Founder in establishing and scaling an independent, advisory-led Multi-Family Office (MFO).

The role involves investment strategy, portfolio management, financial analysis, family-office advisory, team leadership, and business execution. The ideal candidate will combine strong investment expertise with strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex client relationships with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive financial assessments of client families, including assets, liabilities, investments, cash flows, and liquidity requirements.
- Prepare net-worth statements, wealth dashboards, investment reports, and periodic portfolio reviews.
- Develop and review Investment Policy Statements (IPS), strategic asset allocation, and customised investment strategies aligned with client objectives and risk profiles.
- Evaluate and monitor investments across Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Fixed Income, Global Funds, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Angel Investments, Pre-IPO/Unlisted Investments, Real Estate Funds, and other alternative assets.
- Assess portfolio performance, risk exposure, diversification, concentration, investment costs, and suitability.
- Independently evaluate investment managers, fund houses, wealth managers, and external investment recommendations.
- Coordinate family-office advisory requirements, including estate planning, succession planning, taxation, trusts, ownership structures, family governance, philanthropy, and legacy planning.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with promoter families, HNIs, banks, fund managers, legal advisors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders.




- Establish robust investment research, due-diligence frameworks, reporting processes, and technology-enabled portfolio monitoring systems.
- Work closely with the Founder to translate the MFO's strategic vision into actionable plans and scalable operating processes.

Leadership Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and mentor teams across investments, research, analytics, operations, and client servicing.
- Drive strategic decision-making, delegation, accountability, and execution excellence.
- Manage multiple stakeholders and complex client relationships with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Develop scalable processes, governance standards, and institutional-quality operating practices.
- Progressively assume greater responsibility for the management, development, and growth of the Multi-Family Office.

Candidate Requirements
- 10-15+ years of relevant experience in investments, wealth management, family offices, portfolio advisory, or related financial services.
- CA, CFA, MBA in Finance, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Strong understanding of investment analysis, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management across multiple asset classes.
- Experience advising HNIs, promoter families, business owners, or ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs) will be preferred.
- Exposure to family-office operations, estate planning, succession planning, trusts, and intergenerational wealth management is desirable.
- Proven leadership experience, including team building, stakeholder management, and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication, relationship-management, and decision-making skills.
- High standards of integrity, discretion, confidentiality, and client-first thinking.

Role Nature This is a strategic, leadership-track chance to build and scale an independent Multi-Family Office. The position is advisory-led and focused on long-term wealth stewardship rather than product distribution or sales-led wealth management.
