Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join the Group Financial Consolidation &

- Reporting team. The role covers end-to-end group consolidation under IFRS for a multinational group with 150+ legal entities across geographies and currencies. You will report to the Manager –
- Corporate Finance and work closely with country finance teams, group auditors and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Group Consolidation &

- Reporting

- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation reporting under IFRS, including Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow, Segment Reporting and Notes to Accounts for publishing
- Consolidate 150+ legal entities across multiple geographies and currencies, including revaluation and translation
- Prepare key P&L; and Balance Sheet schedules, with comparative analysis, for CFO and CEO review
- Benchmark peers and analyse key KPIs using S&P; Capital IQ
- Manage and coordinate the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close timetable
- Handle the group audit with the group statutory auditors

Country Finance Interface
- Coordinate with country finance teams and the corporate office for timely and accurate reporting
- Review monthly and quarterly MIS and entity-level financials, and drive standardisation and compliance with group accounting policy
- Work with Country FCs and Regional Finance Controllers on accounting,



reporting and disclosure issues
- Review journal and group adjustment entries for intercompany eliminations, IFRS compliance, accuracy and completeness

Systems, Controls &
- Standardisation

- Work with the internal SAP and BPC teams to resolve MIS and consolidation issues
- Automate group reporting through SAP BPC
- Implement new systems and reports to speed up and standardise group reporting

Qualifications

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in financial consolidation and group reporting
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS / Ind AS
- Experience with SAP and SAP BPC preferred; experience with Hyperion or other consolidation tools also acceptable

- Experience implementing a consolidation module is an advantage
- Advanced MS Excel skills

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- CA with consolidation experience from a multinational group, listed company, shared services centre or Big 4 / audit background
- Solid analytical skills; able to interpret and prepare complex financial statements and reports
- Good communication skills for working with global finance teams and auditors
- Self-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to work 5 days from the Chennai office (Taramani / OMR); local candidates or those willing to commute daily preferred
- Willing to travel to the corporate office and international locations for quarter-end and year-end close
