Call for Ph.D. Scholars (Doctoral Research Admission) – Department of Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing).

Applications are invited from prospective doctoral researchers seeking admission to the Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing) at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, under my supervision.

Selected applicants will register as full-time/part-time doctoral candidates and carry out experimental and numerical research leading to the award of a Ph.D. degree.

What I am looking for:

Strong academic background in (ME/M.Tech in Mechanical / Manufacturing/ Production or related fields)

Passion for interdisciplinary research and innovation

Prior experience in optimization techniques, Finite Element Analysis, Computer-aided Design, and Manufacturing is an added advantage.

Prior experience in writing/publishing journal or conference papers.

Fellowship:

₹31,000/month (non-NET/GATE)

₹37,000/month (NET/GATE holders)
