Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CA Inter – Direct Tax role based in Mangaluru. The role involves handling direct tax compliance, including preparation and review of income tax returns for individuals and businesses, as well as managing TDS-related matters. The professional will support tax planning initiatives, assist in interpreting and applying tax laws, and prepare working papers and documentation for assessments and audits.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients for data collection, maintaining accurate tax records,



preparing tax computations, and staying updated on changes in direct tax regulations. The role may also involve collaborating with the accounting and advisory teams to provide integrated finance and tax solutions to clients.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and practical experience in direct Tax and Tax Law, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant provisions.
- Hands-on experience in Tax Preparation and Tax Planning for individuals, firms, and companies.
- Foundational understanding of Finance, including accounting principles and financial statements.
- CA Inter qualified, or equivalent academic background in commerce, accounting, or finance.
- Proficiency in tax-related software and MS Excel; familiarity with accounting systems is an advantage.
- Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client assignments and deadlines.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mangaluru and continuously update knowledge on direct tax and compliance regulations.
