Role Description The Buyer role at Techsist Solution Private Limited is a full-time hybrid position based in Gurugram, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services, identifying reliable suppliers, obtaining and comparing quotations, and negotiating pricing and terms to support internal operations and client projects. Typical activities include creating and managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, maintaining accurate procurement records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and agreed contractual conditions.





The role also involves analyzing demand and inventory levels, collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, and contributing to cost optimization and process improvements. The Buyer is expected to build strong vendor relationships, resolve supply or quality issues promptly, and support reporting on procurement performance and cost savings.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and purchasing skills, including vendor identification, quotation management, negotiation of prices and terms, and purchase order handling.
- Ability to analyze demand, costs, and inventory data, using basic Excel or similar tools to support decision-making and reporting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with suppliers and internal stakeholders, with the ability to document requirements clearly.
- Organizational and time-management capabilities to handle multiple sourcing activities, track deliveries, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of procurement processes, contract basics, and compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a buyer, sourcing, or procurement role, ideally within consulting, services, or one of Techsist’s focus industries, is preferred.
- Comfort working in a hybrid model from Gurugram, with the ability to use digital tools
