iklo is a technology-enabled, on-demand childcare platform that embeds trusted care wherever life happens: malls, hospitals, hotels, tech parks and events. Our flagship, iklo Nest, runs professionally staffed childcare spaces inside high-footfall venues, where parents can drop in a child for 10 minutes to a full day, with real-time visibility through our app. We're an early-stage team building India's most trusted childcare ecosystem.

Role overview:

Own, and then oversee, the day-to-day running and growth of iklo Nest locations, from staffing and safety compliance to partner relationships and local demand. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. Every child at every location gets the same standard of care, and every location performs commercially.

Key responsibilities:

- Run daily operations: caregiver ratios, hygiene and safety SOPs, opening and closing checklists, and emergency protocols.
- Hire, onboard and shadow-train caregivers, with background verification before any shift. Build rosters that cover no-shows, surges and last-minute bookings.
- Run safety, hygiene, staffing and brand audits, and own corrective actions and compliance documentation.
- Own partner relationships with malls, hospitals and hotels, including revenue share, renewals and new site scouting.
- Drive demand generation for each Nest: on-ground outreach to offices, retailers,



residential communities and schools, local activations and partnerships, and tracking which efforts bring bookings.
- Own app usage (check-in, logging, attendance), monthly reporting and core KPIs: check-ins, revenue, utilisation and repeat visits.
- Resolve parent concerns quickly and follow up on low ratings.
- Staff and manage event-based childcare and surge periods.

What we're looking for:

- 3+ years in operations management, ideally in childcare, hospitality, retail, facilities or another multi-location service business.
- Hands-on experience managing frontline staff and enforcing SOPs and compliance standards.
- Comfortable with app-based tools and data in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong communicator: you'll be the face of iklo to partner teams, parents and local organisations.
- High ownership and comfort with ambiguity.
- Willing to work evenings and weekends, and to travel between locations.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Nice to have:

- Local marketing or business development experience.
- Exposure to multi-site or franchise-style operations.
