Role Description The Business Development Executive role is a full time, on-site position based in Kozhikode. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing relationships with corporate clients, and maintaining a strong pipeline of leads.

The Business Development

Executive will conduct market research, prepare and deliver proposals, and collaborate with the events team to align client requirements with service offerings. Daily responsibilities include managing client accounts, coordinating follow-ups, attending meetings,



and representing Ovio Planners at relevant networking events and industry forums. The role requires proactive communication, structured planning, and consistent activity reporting to support sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with the ability to identify opportunities and convert prospects into clients.
- Business and Account Management skills to manage client relationships, negotiate terms, and support long-term partnerships.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective presentation abilities.
- Experience in corporate events, hospitality, or related industries is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams and meet sales or business development targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort using CRM or sales tracking tools.
