We are seeking an experienced Executive – Business Development to drive sales and client acquisition for our Food Testing Services. The role involves identifying recent business opportunities, managing client relationships, and expanding market presence in compliance with FSSAI guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve individual sales targets as defined by management
- Identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities for food, water, and different commodity testing services
- Actively explore and capitalize on new market opportunities
- Identify growth opportunities through current strategies, applications, and service benefits
- Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and service demand insights to management
- Initiate and manage commercial contracts, including quotations and proposals, as per sales plans and company guidelines
- Identify, qualify, and execute laboratory testing contracts aligned with internal capabilities
- Collect and report market trends and competitive developments
- Coordinate with internal teams on service execution, planning, special costs, and work acceptance
- Deliver professional presentations and maintain continuous communication with clients




- Manage work order creation and execution from customer requests
- Maintain accurate and updated customer data in CRM and submit daily sales reports to the reporting manager

Candidate Profile / Qualifications

- Diploma / Graduate / Post Graduate in Science / Food Technology / Chemistry or equivalent.(Preferred)
- Strong understanding of the Food, water, commodities or Testing Industry
- Good industry contacts with third-party food and water testing laboratories
- Sound knowledge of FSSAI guidelines and compliance
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy in documentation and reporting
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Capable of multitasking and performing effectively under pressure
- Professional, mature, and discreet when handling confidential matters
- Proactive, self-driven, and goal-oriented with high productivity levels

Technical Skills

- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Comfortable adapting to new technologies and software systems
