Role OverviewSri City is seeking a BIM Specialist with strong expertise in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, 3D modelling and MEP coordination to support its construction and infrastructure projects.

The role involves preparing accurate drawings and coordinated Building Information Modelling (BIM) models, identifying design conflicts, and working closely with project teams, consultants and contractors to support productive execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting and 3D Modelling

- Prepare and update drawings using AutoCAD and develop 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Develop architectural and MEP models from approved drawings, design inputs and site information.
- Prepare coordinated plans, sections, elevations, installation details and construction drawings.
- Create and maintain Revit families, templates and model libraries.

MEP Coordination

- Model and coordinate mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, water supply, drainage and firefighting services.
- Integrate architectural, structural and MEP models to identify clashes and coordination issues.
- Conduct clash detection using Navisworks or equivalent tools and coordinate their resolution with the relevant consultants.
- Check service routes, equipment locations, access clearances and maintenance requirements before drawings are issued for execution.

Project and Site Support

- Work closely with the Projects, Engineering, Facilities and Procurement teams, external consultants and contractors.
- Incorporate approved design changes and verified site conditions into drawings and models.




- Participate in coordination meetings and site visits to clarify drawing requirements and resolve execution queries.
- Generate quantity schedules and material take-offs from models to support estimation and procurement.
- Prepare and maintain as-built drawings and models for project handover and future maintenance.

Documentation and Quality

- Maintain drawing registers, revision records and organised project documentation.
- Follow agreed BIM standards, naming conventions and drawing approval procedures.
- Check models and drawings for accuracy, completeness and consistency before submission.

Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Preferably 5 or more years of relevant experience in AutoCAD drafting, Revit modelling and BIM coordination.
- Experience in multidisciplinary building projects, industrial facilities, commercial developments or large campuses.
- Hands-on experience in MEP modelling, coordinated drawings, clash detection and as-built documentation.

Essential Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit, particularly Revit MEP.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of construction sequencing, building services and site execution requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple project deliverables and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 or other shared project-document platforms.
- Familiarity with BIM execution plans, model development requirements and multidisciplinary coordination workflows.
- Experience preparing model-based quantity schedules and asset information for facilities management.
