Role Description The Billing Specialist is a full-time, in office role based in Guwahati. This role is responsible for preparing and issuing invoices, processing customer bills, and ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately in the billing and accounting systems.

Day-to-day tasks include verifying purchase details, reconciling billing discrepancies, coordinating with the sales and accounts teams, and responding professionally to customer billing inquiries.

The Billing Specialist will also monitor payment status, support daily cash and card reconciliation, and follow established procedures to maintain compliance with company policies.



The role requires strong organizational skills, consistent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Billing Process and Client Billing, with the ability to manage end-to-end billing activities accurately.
- Hands-on experience with Invoicing and basic Accounting practices, including transaction recording and reconciliation.
- Effective Communication skills to interact with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
- Proficiency with billing or POS software, spreadsheets, and general computer applications.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Ability to work on-site in Guwahati, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple tasks in a retail setting.
- Prior experience in retail billing or accounting support is preferred; relevant certification or diploma in finance, commerce, or accounting is an advantage.
