Job Title: Bakery Chef

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and other bakery products.

Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.

Decorate cakes and pastries using appropriate techniques.

Ensure products have consistent taste, texture, appearance, and quality.

Operate and maintain ovens, mixers, proofers, and other bakery equipment.

Monitor baking temperatures and cooking times.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery area.

Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.

Check the freshness and quality of ingredients.

Manage daily bakery production and minimize food waste.

Assist with menu development and new bakery products.

Train and guide junior bakery staff when required.

Maintain proper storage of ingredients and finished products.

Requirements





Previous experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or Baker.

Knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and food-safety standards.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Valuable attention to detail and presentation.

Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Culinary or bakery training/certification is an advantage.

Skills: Baking, cake decoration, pastry making, food hygiene, inventory control, creativity, teamwork, and time management.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
