Role Description The Back End Developer will design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs that power Jobbie’s job search platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing database structures, integrating third-party services, ensuring data security, and improving performance and reliability of the backend systems. The role involves collaborating with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to deliver features that enhance user experience and streamline internal workflows.

Developer will also troubleshoot production issues, write clean and maintainable code, and contribute to code reviews and technical documentation. This is a full-time, in office role based in Bhopal.

Qualifications

- Strong Back-End Web Development skills, including building and maintaining APIs and server-side logic.
- Solid foundation in Software Development practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.
- Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and designing modular, reusable components.
- Proficiency in Programming with at least one modern backend language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar).
- Basic understanding of Front-End Development to effectively collaborate on end-to-end feature delivery.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, performance optimization, and data security best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, with clear communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture is an advantage.
