Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for Automobile Body Shop Advisors, Service Technicians, and Mechanics at Gurudev Motors (Škoda Dealers). Team members will handle customer interactions related to body shop and service requirements, assess vehicle damage, prepare repair estimates, and coordinate job cards and approvals. Technicians and mechanics will perform routine and complex mechanical, electrical, and body repairs, including accident repair and paint work, following OEM standards and workshop procedures.

The role involves supervising repair quality, ensuring timely delivery,



maintaining workshop cleanliness and safety, and supporting aftersales initiatives. Daily tasks also include documentation, coordination with parts and service teams, and contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-focused service approach, with commitment to customer satisfaction and professional customer service.
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers, technicians, and internal teams.
- Experience in aftersales operations, including service advisory, body shop coordination, and post-service follow-up.
- Technical knowledge of automobile systems, diagnostics, accident repair, and paint processes; ability to read and follow OEM manuals.
- Prior experience as a service advisor, technician, or mechanic in an authorized dealership or reputed workshop, preferably in passenger cars.
- Relevant automotive qualification (ITI, Diploma, or equivalent) in Mechanical/Automobile engineering or certified technical training.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced workshop environment, manage multiple jobs, and meet timelines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Basic computer literacy for using dealer management systems, preparing estimates, and maintaining service records.
