About the RoleHare Krishna Art is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer who can convert product reference images, sketches, and client requirements into accurate technical drawings for manufacturing. The role focuses on intricately carved wooden temples, altars, and premium handcrafted furniture.

The ideal candidate should understand woodworking, carving details, product dimensions, and manufacturing processes to create practical drawings that can be directly used by our carpenters and carving artisans.

Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings of wooden temples, altars, sofas, swings, dining tables, and other carved furniture.
- Prepare front, side, top, sectional, and elevation drawings with accurate dimensions.
- Convert reference photographs, hand sketches, and approved designs into technical manufacturing drawings.
- Develop detailed drawings of decorative carvings, pillars, arches, floral patterns, borders, panels, cornices, and other intricate wooden elements.
- Prepare component-wise drawings with measurements for carpentry, wood carving, assembly, and finishing.
- Create exploded views and assembly drawings wherever required.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure designs are practical and feasible for manufacturing.
- Revise drawings according to client feedback and design approvals.
- Maintain organized CAD files, drawing revisions,



and product design documentation.
- Assist in developing new product designs and improving existing designs.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Design, Product Design, Interior Design, or a related field; relevant practical experience will also be considered.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting and technical drawing.
- Understanding of dimensions, elevations, sections, tolerances, and assembly drawings.
- Knowledge of wooden furniture manufacturing, carpentry, and carving processes.
- Ability to interpret reference images and convert them into accurate technical drawings.
- Good visualization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate with production teams and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting for furniture, woodworking, temples, or customized products.
- Experience with intricate carved wooden designs and customized furniture.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, SolidWorks, or other 3D design software will be an advantage.
