Role Description The Associate Relationship Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Chandigarh. This role involves managing and growing a portfolio of retail and small business customers, ensuring high-quality service and timely resolution of queries.

The Associate Relationship

Manager will support customer onboarding, promote bank products such as deposits and loans, and assist in credit processes in line with bank policies. Daily tasks include conducting customer meetings, monitoring account activity, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and maintaining accurate documentation and records. The role also includes working closely with internal teams to ensure compliance,



mitigate risks, and contribute to branch-level business growth targets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong relationship-management and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client connections.
- Candidates should possess sales and business development skills, including cross-selling, upselling, and meeting defined revenue or portfolio growth targets.
- Candidates should possess basic financial and banking knowledge, including understanding of retail banking products, credit processes, and regulatory guidelines.
- Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial solutions clearly and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess organizational and documentation skills, including attention to detail, record-keeping, and adherence to compliance procedures.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field are preferred.
- Prior experience in banking, NBFCs, or financial services in a customer-facing role will be an advantage.
- Comfort with local language(s) and English, and familiarity with basic computer applications and banking software, will be beneficial.
