Role Description The Assistant Planning Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Malur, Kolar District. This position supports the planning function by coordinating production schedules, monitoring order statuses, and ensuring on-time delivery in line with customer requirements. The role involves analyzing capacity, tracking material availability, and aligning timelines with merchandising, production, and quality teams.

The Assistant Planning

Manager is expected to prepare regular reports, maintain planning data in relevant systems, and proactively identify risks and bottlenecks in the production plan.



Collaboration with internal stakeholders, attention to detail, and adherence to company quality and efficiency standards are central to the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Experience in production planning, capacity planning, or supply chain coordination within apparel, textiles, or manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and prepare clear planning and performance reports.
- Proficiency with planning tools and software (e.g., ERP/MRP systems, spreadsheets) and comfort working with digital data and dashboards.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with merchandising, production, and quality teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple orders, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Prior experience in garment manufacturing or export-oriented units is an advantage.
- Commitment to quality, integrity, and continuous improvement, with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving processes.
