Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence in Unitedworld Institute of Management based at Karnavati University in Gandhinagar.

The Assistant

Professor will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence and related areas, including lectures, tutorials, labs, and project guidance.

Responsibilities include developing curricula and course materials aligned with current AI trends, supervising student projects and research, and mentoring students on academic and career pathways. The role involves conducting independent and collaborative research, publishing in reputed journals and conferences, and seeking funded research opportunities.

The Assistant

Professor will also contribute to departmental activities, academic committees, industry collaboration initiatives, and outreach programs that strengthen KU’s AI and technology ecosystem.

Qualifications

- Advanced academic background in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field (PhD preferred solid master’s degree in business administration with relevant experience in teaching Business School students).
- Expertise in core AI domains such as machine learning,



deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.

Proficiency in programming and tools commonly used in AI, such as Python, relevant ML frameworks (e.g., Artificial Intelligence in Decision Making

Introduction to Data Visualization

- Artificial Intelligence in Business Analytics), and data analysis libraries.
- Demonstrated ability to design and teach AI or computer science courses, including preparing syllabi, assessments, and lab content.
- Active or emerging research profile with publications in recognized AI, ML, or computer science journals and conferences.
- Strong communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with the ability to engage and mentor a diverse student body.
- Capability to collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, work effectively with colleagues, and contribute to academic governance and institutional initiatives.
- Experience with industry collaboration, applied AI projects, or consulting will be an advantage.
- Commitment to inclusive teaching practices, ethical use of AI, and continuous professional development in emerging technologies.
