Job DescriptionWe are looking for a proactive and hands-on Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cafés and kiosks. The role will be responsible for managing frontline teams, maintaining operational standards, driving sales, controlling costs, and ensuring consistent product quality and customer experience across outlets.

The ideal candidate should have strong people-management skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to take ownership of on-ground operations while working closely with senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Compliance

- Oversee daily operations across cafés and kiosks.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular outlet visits and resolve operational challenges.
- Ensure consistent product availability and smooth service across locations.

Team Management

- Manage staff hiring, onboarding, scheduling, attendance,



and manpower planning.
- Train and supervise teams on product knowledge, service standards, and brand values.
- Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
- Set weekly and monthly team targets and drive accountability.

Sales & Business Growth

- Drive monthly sales targets across assigned outlets.
- Develop sales strategies, promotions, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives.
- Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue and average order value.
- Identify potential corporate, campus, and commercial business opportunities.
- Support new outlet launches and business expansion initiatives.

Inventory & Cost Control

- Monitor inventory, stock movement, consumption, and replenishment through Petpooja.
- Ensure accurate stock reconciliation and minimise wastage.
- Monitor operating expenses and support budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
- Maintain adequate stock levels across all outlets.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Track sales, inventory, wastage, manpower productivity, and outlet performance.




- Analyse performance against targets and implement corrective measures.
- Share sales forecasts, operational updates, and improvement plans with senior management.

Customer Experience & Brand Standards

- Ensure consistent beverage quality, presentation, and service.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Maintain brand standards and a welcoming customer environment across all outlets.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in café, QSR, kiosk, hospitality, or food and beverage operations.
- Experience in team supervision, staff hiring, and manpower management.
- Strong understanding of sales targets, upselling, and outlet-level business performance.
- Working knowledge of inventory management and POS systems; Petpooja experience is preferred.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and operational compliance.
- Basic knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and sales reporting.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel between outlets and work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
