About the Role

We are looking for an experienced O&M; Manager to oversee a 50 MW PM-KUSUM solar project portfolio in Telangana, comprising multiple individual sites with capacities of approximately 4–6 MW each.

The role involves managing operations across multiple sites, monitoring plant performance, coordinating with site teams, ensuring timely maintenance, and maintaining effective client coordination. The candidate should have strong solar O&M; experience and the ability to manage multiple locations efficiently while ensuring plant performance, equipment reliability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

1. Multi-Site Operations Management

- Manage and coordinate O&M; activities across multiple solar project sites.
- Monitor site-wise performance, maintenance schedules, manpower deployment, and operational issues.
- Conduct regular site visits to review operations and ensure adherence to required standards.

2. Plant Performance and SCADA Monitoring

- Monitor plant generation, availability, performance ratio (PR), and generation losses.
- Review SCADA data to identify equipment faults, performance deviations, and recurring issues.
- Coordinate corrective actions with site teams to minimise downtime and improve plant performance.

3. Maintenance and Technical Support

- Plan and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of solar modules, inverters, transformers, HT/LT systems, switchgear, and associated equipment.
- Coordinate troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Monitor critical spares and maintenance requirements to ensure smooth operations across all sites.

4. Team and Stakeholder Coordination

- Coordinate with site engineers, technicians, contractors, vendors, and internal departments.




- Ensure timely completion of maintenance activities and closure of pending issues.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and other stakeholders regarding plant performance and operational matters.

5. Reporting and Performance Improvement

- Prepare and review site-wise generation reports, downtime records, maintenance updates, and performance summaries.
- Analyse recurring equipment issues, coordinate root cause analysis, and ensure closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Monitor O&M; expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.

6. Safety and Compliance

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, HSE requirements, and applicable statutory regulations.
- Ensure maintenance activities follow approved procedures and equipment manufacturer recommendations.
- Address safety and quality observations and maintain the required inspection and compliance records.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a relevant electrical discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in solar power plant O&M.;
- Prior experience managing multiple solar plant sites simultaneously is mandatory.
- Experience in distributed solar projects or PM-KUSUM projects is preferred.
- Good understanding of solar plant electrical systems, inverters, transformers, HT/LT systems, and switchgear.
- Working knowledge of SCADA systems, plant performance monitoring, and fault analysis.
- Experience in maintenance planning, troubleshooting, team coordination, and O&M; reporting.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly across project sites in Telangana.

What We’re Looking For A practical and technically strong solar O&M; qualified who can independently manage multiple sites, coordinate field teams, monitor plant performance, and ensure reliable and efficient operations across the 50 MW project portfolio.

Work Location: Telangana, India – regular travel across project sites is required.
