About the Role

Diatom Technologies is looking for a practical and creative AI Software & Web Developer to join our own team and build custom software, websites and AI-powered business solutions for Diatom’s UK and Ireland business.

This is a part-time contract role directly with Diatom, fully remote from India. It starts part-time, with a strong possibility of moving to a regular role based on your performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain custom software applications and websites
- Integrate AI models and APIs into web pages, software and business workflows
- Create AI agents, chatbots and automated systems that use tools, access data, call APIs and complete multi-step tasks
- Develop secure, reliable and user-friendly solutions
- Connect applications to databases, third-party services and business platforms
- Test, troubleshoot,



document and improve software and AI solutions
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and turn ideas into working products

Required Experience

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on software and web development
- Strong front-end and back-end skills
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, Node.js, React, PHP, .NET or equivalent
- Experience integrating software or websites with AI models through APIs or SDKs
- Experience building AI agents, intelligent assistants or automated AI workflows
- Good knowledge of APIs, databases, Git, authentication, testing and deployment
- Strong problem-solving skills and able to work independently
- Comfortable working with UK and Ireland teams

Good to Have Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool calling, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI or AutoGen.
