Role Description The Agency Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of insurance agents to achieve business targets for health insurance products. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves recruiting, training, and mentoring agents, monitoring their performance, and ensuring adherence to company processes and compliance standards.

Manager will plan and execute sales strategies, support agents in field activities, and help build robust relationships with customers and channel partners.



The role also includes tracking market trends, providing feedback for product and process improvements, and preparing regular reports on sales performance and operational metrics.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and business development skills, including experience in achieving targets and managing a sales funnel.
- People management and leadership abilities, with experience in supervising, coaching, and motivating field teams or agents.
- Customer relationship management skills, including the ability to handle customer queries, resolve issues, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Operational and compliance awareness, with the ability to follow insurance regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local languages as relevant to the Bengaluru market.
- Strong planning, reporting, and analytical skills to track performance, interpret data, and implement corrective actions.
- Prior experience in health or general insurance, financial services, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a postgraduate qualification in management, insurance, or finance is an advantage.
- Comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and basic office productivity software for daily operations.
