The Aalam, a Freedom School, Kalapatti, Coimbatore

We are looking for someone to join our team to coordinate admissions, engage with prospective parents and support school events and administrative activities.

Aalam is an alternative school inspired by Montessori principles, with a Cambridge international curriculum for the secondary years. We value independence, meaningful learning and a child-centred approach to education.

What the role involves

- Handle admission enquiries, parent interactions, campus visits and follow-ups.
- Help prospective parents understand Aalam's educational philosophy and practices.
- Plan and support admissions outreach, particularly for our Middle and Senior School (Grades 7–12).
- Coordinate school events, parent orientations, workshops and other programmes.
- Support general school administration and coordination across teams.
- Maintain admission records and ensure timely communication with parents.

Who we are looking for





- Someone with valuable communication and organisational skills.
- Comfortable interacting with parents, children and educators.
- Able to plan, coordinate and independently follow through on activities.
- Interested in education and willing to understand Aalam's approach.
- Experience in school admissions, administration, events or parent relations would be an advantage.
- Good written and spoken English. Tamil communication skills are desirable.

We are looking for someone who can build genuine relationships with families, communicate thoughtfully and take responsibility for getting things done.
