Role Description The Accounts Payable Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, verifying supporting documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate payments.

The specialist will manage expense reports, reconcile accounts payable transactions, prepare and post accounting journal entries, and assist in month-end closing activities. Day-to-day work includes resolving invoice and payment discrepancies, coordinating with internal teams and vendors, maintaining up-to-date records in finance systems, and supporting compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.



The role also involves contributing to process improvements, supporting audits, and providing analytical insights into payables and cash flow management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills, with a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
- Candidates should possess experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries (Accounting) and supporting general ledger maintenance.
- Candidates should possess the ability to manage and review Expense Reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to identify variances, resolve discrepancies, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field are preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP software, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills are beneficial.
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced payables workplace and familiarity with e-commerce or retail industries is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders and to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting is expected.
