Role Description This full-time remote Copywriter and Script Writer role focuses on developing compelling written and video content for Social Up Marketing and its clients. The person in this role will craft clear, engaging copy for social media posts, ad campaigns, landing pages, and brand messaging, while also writing scripts for short-form and long-form video content used across digital platforms. Daily responsibilities include conducting research on client industries and target audiences, collaborating with marketing strategists and video editors to align content with campaign goals, and adapting tone and style to different brands and formats. The role involves revising and optimizing existing copy,



proofreading all materials for accuracy and consistency, and ensuring that messaging reflects current social media trends and best practices. The Copywriter and Script Writer will participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas that support the Creator Program and other content initiatives.
Qualifications

- Strong Writing and Copywriting skills, with the ability to create engaging scripts for video and concise copy for social media and digital channels.
- Experience with Press Releases and Marketing content, including campaign messaging, brand storytelling, and promotional materials.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with creators, marketers, managers, and clients in a remote workplace.
- Advanced Proofreading and editing abilities to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment across all written and scripted content.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content trends, and metrics, and the ability to tailor copy to different audiences and formats.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Relevant experience in digital marketing, content creation, or advertising; agency or creator-focused experience is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
