About the Role

Pavizham Group is seeking a qualified and experienced RO Plant In-Charge to manage and oversee the operation, maintenance, and chemical treatment processes of our Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Chemistry and possess hands-on experience in water chemistry, plant operation, quality monitoring, and equipment upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

- Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of the RO plant, pre-treatment units, filtration systems, and chemical dosing equipment.
- Chemical Analysis & Quality Control: Conduct regular water analysis (pH, TDS, hardness, conductivity, silica, chlorine levels, SDI, and microbial parameters).
- Process Optimization: Monitor system performance, membrane fouling, pressure drops, and flux rates; optimize chemical dosing (antiscalants, biocides, pH adjusters) to maintain plant efficiency.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Oversee routine maintenance, backwashing, membrane cleaning (CIP - Clean-In-Place), and minor repairs of pumps, valves, and instruments.
- Compliance & Records: Maintain detailed daily logbooks of operational parameters, chemical consumption, water quality metrics,



and maintenance activities. Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Team Supervision: Guide and supervise plant operators and lab personnel to ensure safety and smooth round-the-clock operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

- · Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- · Experience: 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in RO plant operation, water treatment, and industrial water chemistry.
- · Technical Skills:

o Strong expertise in chemical testing, titration, and standard analytical equipment.

o Deep understanding of membrane filtration techniques, pretreatment (MMF, ACF, Softeners), and CIP protocols.

o Ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly to prevent downtime.

- · Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills in Malayalam and English.
