About the Role
Pleiad Engineering Solutions is looking for a motivated Diploma Chemical Engineering Intern to gain practical industrial exposure in Projects, Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems and process equipment.
The intern will work with experienced engineers and gain hands-on exposure to engineering, manufacturing and project activities related to industrial process equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Engineered team with basic calculations and technical documentation.
- Understand and interpret PFDs, P&IDs; and process flow systems.
- Gain practical exposure to Evaporators, ATFD, Heat Exchangers, Strippers, Tanks and other process equipment.
- Understand the fundamentals and operation of ZLD systems and wastewater treatment processes.
- Coordinate with Process, Design, Production, QA/QC and Project teams.
- Visit the manufacturing facility and project sites to understand fabrication, installation and commissioning activities.
- Follow company procedures and maintain required industrial safety standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering – pursuing or recently completed.
- Basic knowledge of Chemical Engineering fundamentals.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in an industrial environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Willingness to travel to factory/project sites as required.
