Factory Manager – Bakery & Food Production

Shashi Foods is hiring an experienced Factory Manager to take full responsibility for factory operations, including production, manpower, quality, hygiene, inventory, maintenance and dispatch to Pammis Bakers outlets.

Key responsibilities

- Independently manage daily factory operations and ensure timely production and dispatch.
- Plan production according to outlet requirements, sales demand and available stock.
- Manage production teams, supervisors, shifts, attendance and manpower allocation.
- Maintain consistent product quality, recipes, portion sizes and production standards.
- Enforce food safety, hygiene, cleaning schedules and applicable FSSAI requirements.
- Control raw material consumption, production costs, wastage, expiry and stock differences.
- Oversee raw material receiving, storage, stock rotation and finished goods inventory.
- Ensure dispatch quantities, product condition and documentation are accurate.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and resolve equipment breakdowns.




- Work with purchasing, accounts and outlet managers to resolve operational issues.
- Maintain daily reports on production, dispatch, wastage, stock, staffing and equipment.
- Train staff, enforce discipline and follow through on corrective actions.

Requirements

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in bakery or food manufacturing operations.
- Proven experience managing a factory independently, including production teams and supervisors.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, food safety and cost control.
- Ability to identify problems, make operational decisions and deliver measurable improvements.
- Working knowledge of Excel and production reporting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with workers, managers and ownership.
- Willingness to work on-site at our factory in 400 Killa, Bathinda.
