# Job Description – IQC Executive (Incoming Quality Control)

Maduras Herbals Pvt Ltd is seeking a **detail-oriented and responsible IQC Executive** to handle incoming material quality inspection for herbal, cosmetic, personal care, and wellness products.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect incoming raw materials such as carrier oils, essential oils, herbal powders, extracts, gels, and other cosmetic ingredients.

- Inspect packaging materials including bottles, containers, caps, labels, and pouches.

- Verify quantity, batch number, manufacturing/expiry dates, packaging condition, and specifications.

- Check appearance, colour, aroma/odour, texture, consistency, and other applicable quality parameters.

- Verify supplier COA (Certificate of Analysis) against company specifications.

- Conduct sampling and maintain incoming inspection records.

- Identify and report quality deviations, defects, and non-conforming materials.

- Approve, hold, or reject incoming materials based on inspection results.

- Maintain IQC reports, quality records, and batch-wise documentation.

- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, and suppliers regarding quality issues.

- Follow company SOPs,



quality standards, and GMP practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Cosmetic Science, Herbal Science, Pharmacy, or a related field.

- 1–2 years of relevant experience in IQC/QC, preferably in herbal, cosmetic, personal care, essential oil, carrier oil, or related industries.

- Only candidates with relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.

- Basic knowledge of raw material inspection, COA verification, sampling, and quality documentation.

- Good attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹17,000 per month

- PF & ESI as per company policy
