Your Work Profile

Investment Management Business Analyst is responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts responsible for the analysis and evaluation of customer business problems and the development of solutions and working with the Stakeholders to meet business requirements also ensuring the product backlog capturing and maturity. Ensuring the team and downstream stakeholders understand the impact of changes. Should be able to ensure his/her team produces data dictionary; and document and understand Business processes.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for addressing and supporting the UK and European business projects for new and existing products and functionality initiatives across our systems. The role will encompass the full spectrum of business analyst activities through the full project life cycle. Relationship management skills for the various business contacts for the area will be significant to ensure a superior service to our clients is maintained.

Key skills required

- Understand complex business issues and has the ability to understand the technical implications associated with business requirements

- 8–12 years of Business Analysis experience, with significant time operating at senior/leadership level.

- Proven experience leading teams and delivering complex transformation programmes.

- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both enterprise and delivery levels.

- Deep expertise in business architecture, capability modelling, and process transformation.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior executives.





- Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a data-driven approach.

- Strong understanding of Agile, SAFe, Lean, or hybrid delivery models.

- Sound knowledge of Capital Markets, Asset Management, and Investment Management domains.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Writing User Stories and helping with solutions.

- Leading Story walkthroughs and 3 Amigos sessions for the delivery teams.

- Doing extensive data analysis, and deriving business insights from data.

- Handle a demanding work environment and maintain a very high level of deliverable quality

- Interact with all levels of the business community, seeking approval from all stakeholders of the projects

- Must be able to drive solution discussions and produce solution design documents

- Define the scope of a business requirement, decide the approach and produce the specification.

- Drive the analysis effort from start to end for a given area keeping various stakeholders in the loop and getting approvals/sign offs from them.

- Assess and ensure that the solution being delivered is fit for purpose.

- Obtaining agreement on business analysis deliverables and ensuring that they meet all the requirements of the business and tracking these across multiple systems groups

- Working with business leads within the team to identify, define, and clarify the scope / issues in terms of complex business/systems requirements.

- Functionality co-ordination across multiple system projects delivering common, re-usable functionality using service-oriented patterns

- Acting as a proxy customer with the development teams, facilitating open communication between the customer & development team

- Driving user acceptance criteria with the customer

- Co-ordinate with onshore-offshore UK/India business analysts. Work with onshore-offshore UK/India development teams

- Interact & work with third party partners and suppliers

- Stay abreast of key emerging products / industry standards in the Business Analysis arena

- Contribute to BA forum, lead process improvement initiatives
