Pai Kane Group is looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for electrical projects and installation works. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing project materials, coordinating with vendors and site teams, negotiating prices, and ensuring the timely availability of materials as per project schedules and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and accessories required for project execution and installation.
- Review project BOQs, technical specifications, engineering drawings, and material requirements before initiating procurement.
- Source and evaluate suitable suppliers and vendors based on pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and reliability.
- Obtain quotations, compare commercial offers, and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing after obtaining the necessary approvals.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Design, and Planning teams to understand project material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites as per execution schedules.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding pending orders, dispatches, and delivery delays.




- Coordinate transportation and logistics for the timely movement of materials to project locations.
- Monitor procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or project specifications.
- Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with the Accounts team for payment processing.
- Maintain purchase records, supplier databases, quotations, purchase orders, and delivery documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of electrical materials and equipment used in project installation.
- Good vendor development, negotiation, and cost-control skills.
- Ability to understand BOQs, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills with project and site teams.
- Positive communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase-related documentation.

Eligibility Criteria

- B.E. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in purchase/procurement for electrical projects, installation works, or project execution.
- Experience coordinating with vendors and project/site teams will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
