Company Overview

Abraham and Associates Limited is a London-based accountancy and auditing practice, established in 2011.
We specialise in tax, accounting and business advisory services for small and growing businesses.
To support our UK operations, we are building a dynamic practice team in our new Cochin (Kerala) offshore office.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with previous work experience in an accountancy firm join our Cochin office.

The ideal candidate will combine strong accounting expertise with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and will be comfortable working across international time zones.

Previous experience of 3+ working within an accountancy practice is required.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Accounting

- Bookkeeping, ledger management and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly VAT returns and management reports
- Help with the vendor payments and cost control
- Assist with the preparation of client financial statements and tax returns
- Reporting to the Cochin office manager

Client & UK Communication

- Liaise with the UK team
- Provide accurate and timely financial updates to UK partners and clients with professional business communication.

Qualifications & Skills





- Degree/Master’s degree in Commerce/Finance or or equivalent professional qualification (CA Inter/UK ACCA inter preferred).
- Minimum 3 + years’ experience in practice accounting, preferably in an international or outsourcing environment or with an Indian CA firm.
- Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to communicate confidently with UK clients and senior management.
- Robust numerical skills, organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Plus Points

- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and statutory compliance; exposure to UK/IFRS standards is an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software’s ( Xero, Quickbooks, Bright pay, Ta Calc, VT+, Dext) and MS Office.
- Experience in UK VAT, Taxation and Payroll

Employment type: Full-time

Office Timing – To liaise with the UK office, the working hours will be from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST.

Compensation: Competitive salary, based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
