- Create daily / weekly / monthly production plans
- Plan machining sequences for CNC turning, milling, VMC, HMC, etc.
- Balance machine capacity, manpower, and delivery commitments
- Identify bottlenecks (machine breakdowns, tool shortages, rework)
- Reschedule jobs when priorities change (urgent orders, delays)
- Commit realistic delivery dates to sales/customer
- Ensure on-time delivery (OTD)
- Expedite critical jobs
- Handle schedule changes due to customer revisions
- Customer Schedule review
