As discussed, please find below the job description for the Electrical BIM Modeller position at JSE Engineering Pvt. Ltd.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Electrical BIM Modeller with hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit MEP and electrical building services modelling. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D electrical BIM models, preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating electrical systems with other building services disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain 3D electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Prepare lighting layouts, power layouts, small power layouts, and electrical service drawings.
- Model cable trays, cable ladders, conduits, electrical panels, lighting fixtures, and associated electrical components.
- Prepare electrical plans, sections, elevations, and coordinated shop drawings.
- Coordinate electrical models with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Structural, and Architectural disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and assist in resolving coordination issues using Navisworks.
- Incorporate design changes and revisions into BIM models.
- Ensure model accuracy and compliance with project specifications and BIM standards.
- Work with Electrical Design Engineers and BIM Coordinators to meet project deadlines.




- Maintain model quality in accordance with applicable Level of Development (LOD) requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit MEP – Electrical Modelling.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Understanding of lighting systems, power distribution, electrical containment, and cable tray routing.
- Experience preparing electrical layouts and shop drawings.
- Familiarity with Navisworks and clash detection is preferred.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and LOD 300/350/400 is an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in MEP consulting firms, BIM service providers, engineering design companies, or building services consultancies.
- Exposure to commercial buildings, residential projects, hospitals, hotels, and other large-scale building projects.
- Experience coordinating electrical systems with other MEP disciplines will be an advantage.
