Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Linux Firmware Engineer to support the development of an ARM-based embedded product built on the NXP i.MX platform. This is a hands-on role involving Linux platform development, hardware bring-up, Yocto customization, multimedia integration, and productization.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

- Develop and maintain Embedded Linux firmware and platform software.
- Customize and optimize Yocto-based Linux distributions.
- Integrate and debug peripherals such as display, touch, camera, USB, audio, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
- Support Qt/QML application integration and optimization.
- Troubleshoot system-level issues related to performance, stability, and hardware integration.
- Work closely with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver production-ready firmware.
- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

- Meet all sprint commitments, cycle times, and testing milestones.
- Effective and timely defect detection with clear documentation.
- Active contribution to process improvement, automation, and quality initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 5+ years of Embedded Linux development experience.
- Proven experience delivering commercial embedded products.
- Expertise with CI/CD workflows for embedded systems.
- Expertise with OTA updates, device security, and release management.
- Robust debugging and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹166,600.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
