About the Role

We are hiring a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie – Continental for a premium dining restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in continental cuisine, excellent kitchen execution skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the assigned section and ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Prepare and execute continental dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, plating, and food quality.
- Ensure proper mise en place and timely preparation for service.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
- Monitor ingredient quality, storage, stock rotation, and wastage.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen team members during service.
- Assist with menu development, specials,



and new dish trials when required.
- Ensure compliance with kitchen SOPs and food safety standards.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in a professional restaurant or hotel kitchen.
- Prior experience in continental cuisine is essential.
- Experience in premium dining, upscale casual dining, or fine-dining establishments will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, sauces, and plating.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
- A culinary qualification or relevant qualified training is preferred.
