Milling Operator

Location: Rabale, Navi Mumbai
Department: Production
Experience: 2–5 Years

Job Responsibilities:

- Operate milling machines as per production requirements.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Perform milling, drilling, facing, slotting and other machining operations.
- Set and adjust cutting tools and machine parameters.
- Check dimensions using Vernier caliper, micrometer and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure jobs are produced as per required dimensions and tolerances.
- Identify and report quality issues, tool problems and machine abnormalities.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S and safety practices.
- Complete production work within the given time.

Requirements:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical qualification.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Milling Operator.
- Good knowledge of machining and measuring instruments.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and shifts, if required.
