About the role You will be the link between the General Manager and the day-to-day team. You resolve what can be resolved, and bring the GM only what truly needs him, with the full picture. You get real decision authority from your first day.

What you will do

- Be the first point of escalation for the purchase, billing, collections and office teams: queries, conflicts and day-to-day problems
- Track attendance and punctuality, and follow up with staff directly
- Handle customer escalations on documents, test certificates, dispatch and delays, and see each one through to closure
- Keep the Vapi plant (production, QA/QC) and the Mumbai office aligned on orders, dispatch and paperwork
- Review raw material purchase orders that fall outside the approved vendor list or lowest quote, and take them to the GM for sign-off
- Make sure the team follows agreed processes and uses the new CRM and workflow tools, and flag gaps
- Sort the general office inbox and route items to the right person
- Send the GM a short weekly report on open issues, delays and staff matters

What we are looking for

- 6 to 10 years in operations,



administration or team coordination, ideally in manufacturing, construction chemicals, building materials or contracting
- Experience leading or coordinating people without a formal chain of command
- Comfort with Excel, email and everyday use of CRM or workflow tools
- Fluent in English and Hindi; Gujarati is a plus
- Firm but fair, with a calm manner when working with colleagues who have been with the company for many years
- Good judgement: you know what to handle yourself and what to escalate

What success looks like in six months

- Routine staff issues are settled without reaching the GM
- Attendance and punctuality visibly improve
- Customer escalations close within an agreed turnaround
- The team uses the recent systems daily
