We work with patients from India and across the world, including those undergoing treatment for advanced-stage cancers. Nutrition and metabolic health are important components of our supportive care approach, helping patients maintain nutritional status, manage treatment-related side effects and support their overall quality of life.

Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Clinical Nutritionist with an interest in oncology and integrative healthcare. The candidate will work closely with our doctors and clinical team to develop personalised nutrition plans based on each patient’s diagnosis, treatment, nutritional status, symptoms, laboratory findings and individual needs.

The role requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent patient communication skills and the ability to translate nutritional recommendations into practical, sustainable plans for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

* Personalised Nutrition Planning: Assess patients’ nutritional status and develop individualised dietary plans based on their condition, treatment protocol, nutritional requirements and food preferences.

* Oncology Nutrition: Support patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgery and other cancer treatments, with particular attention to maintaining adequate nutrition, muscle mass, hydration and functional status.

* Symptom Management: Provide dietary guidance for treatment-related issues such as nausea, loss of appetite, taste changes, constipation, diarrhoea, mucositis and unintended weight loss.





* Integrative and Metabolic Nutrition: Work with the clinical team on appropriate nutritional and metabolic strategies, including low-carbohydrate or ketogenic approaches where clinically suitable and medically supervised.

* Clinical Coordination: Collaborate with oncologists, doctors, nurses and other clinical professionals to align nutrition plans with the patient’s overall treatment strategy.

* Patient Consultations: Conduct nutrition assessments, explain dietary recommendations and provide ongoing counselling to patients and caregivers.

* Monitoring and Follow-up: Track weight, dietary intake, nutritional indicators, symptoms and adherence; adjust plans in consultation with the clinical team.

* International Patient Support: Communicate effectively with international patients and adapt dietary plans to their cultural preferences, food availability, budgets and home-country requirements.

* Documentation: Maintain accurate nutritional assessments, dietary plans, progress notes and follow-up records in the patient management system.

* Education and Awareness: Develop patient-friendly nutrition guides, educational resources and practical meal-planning materials for patients and caregivers.

* Evidence-Based Practice: Stay updated on oncology nutrition, clinical nutrition research and integrative care while distinguishing established evidence from emerging or experimental approaches.

Eligibility and Qualifications

* Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition, Food and Nutrition, Dietetics or a closely related field. Relevant clinical qualifications are preferred.

* 2–5 years of experience in clinical nutrition,



preferably in oncology, hospital-based nutrition, clinical dietetics or complex chronic disease management.

* Experience counselling patients and creating individualised nutrition plans.

* Strong understanding of malnutrition screening, nutritional assessment, dietary calculations and treatment-related nutritional complications.

* Familiarity with metabolic nutrition approaches is desirable.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary clinical workplace and maintaining detailed patient records.

Preferred Candidate Profile

* Experience working with cancer patients or in an oncology hospital/clinical setting.

* Understanding of the nutritional challenges associated with advanced cancer and intensive treatment.

* Interest in integrative oncology and personalised medicine.

* Ability to communicate complex nutritional information in simple, empathetic language.

* Comfortable working with international patients across different dietary cultures.

* Patient-first mindset, attention to detail and a willingness to learn from doctors and other specialists.

Important Expectations

The nutritionist will work as part of the clinical team. Dietary interventions, including restrictive diets and metabolic approaches, must be individualised and coordinated with the treating doctors, particularly for patients with significant weight loss, poor oral intake, diabetes, renal or hepatic impairment, or other nutritional risks.

The role is not about promoting one diet for every cancer patient. It is about understanding the individual patient and developing a safe, practical and clinically appropriate nutrition strategy.
