About the Role

We are looking for a *Full Stack Developer* with strong hands-on experience in *React.js, React Native, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL* to join our growing product development team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across frontend and backend development, integrating REST APIs, working with databases, and building responsive web and mobile applications.

Experience with real-time communication, chat systems, WebSocket, Socket.io, WebRTC, messaging platforms, or live communication applications will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Build responsive and mobile-first applications using React.js and React Native
- Develop scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js
- Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases
- Write optimized SQL queries, joins, transactions, and database relationships
- Integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data operations
- Build reusable and maintainable UI components
- Convert Figma designs and mockups into production-ready interfaces
- Develop chat, messaging, notification, and real-time communication features
- Implement real-time functionality using WebSocket, Socket.io, or WebRTC
- Manage application state using Redux or Zustand
- Implement authentication and authorization flows using JWT
- Implement dark/light themes and maintain UI consistency
- Optimize frontend and backend application performance
- Ensure responsive compatibility across web, Android, and iOS
- Handle form validation, error handling, and API failures
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers
- Follow Git workflows including branching, pull requests, merging, and code reviews
- Follow accessibility and UX best practices

Required skills & Qualification

Frontend





- Strong proficiency in React.js
- Good hands-on experience with React Native
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
- Good knowledge of TypeScript
- Strong understanding of component-based architecture
- Experience with Redux and/or Zustand
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, and CSS Grid
- Experience with Tailwind CSS and/or Styled Components
- Experience converting Figma designs into responsive interfaces
- Understanding of responsive and mobile-first development
- Familiarity with React Navigation
- Familiarity with Framer Motion and/or React Native Reanimated
- Understanding of dark/light theme implementation

Backend

- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js
- Experience with Express.js
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
- Experience with authentication systems such as JWT
- Good understanding of API validation, error handling, and security practices

Database — PostgreSQL

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
- Strong understanding of SQL
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Good knowledge of JOINs, relationships, subqueries, and aggregations*
- Understanding of database design and normalization
- Experience with indexes and query optimization
- Understanding of transactions and data integrity
- Experience integrating PostgreSQL with Node.js/Express.js
- Familiarity with database migrations and schema management

Real-Time Communication

Candidates with experience in any of the following will be highly preferred:

- WebSocket
- Socket.io
- WebRTC
- Real-time messaging
- Chat applications
- Notification systems
- Live communication platforms
- Message delivery/status systems
- Event-driven applications

Good to Have

- Experience building chat or messaging interfaces
- Experience with CPaaS, SaaS, communication, or messaging platforms
- Knowledge of SMS, WhatsApp API, RCS, Voice, or similar communication APIs




- Experience with WebSocket or real-time data integrations
- Knowledge of Redis
- Familiarity with Kafka or message queues
- Understanding of design tokens and atomic design principles
- Experience with Docker
- Familiarity with AWS services
- Experience working with CI/CD workflows

UI/UX Requirements

- Strong understanding of responsive UI development
- Ability to create pixel-perfect interfaces from Figma
- Good understanding of UX principles
- Experience maintaining consistent design systems
- Understanding of accessibility standards
- Ability to build interfaces that work consistently across desktop and mobile devices

Version Control & Development Practices

- Robust knowledge of Git
- Experience with branching strategies
- Pull requests and code reviews
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot production issues
- Ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code
- Understanding of development best practices

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

- Has 1–3 years of practical development experience
- Can independently work on both frontend and backend tasks
- Has strong React.js + Node.js fundamentals
- Has hands-on React Native experience
- Has experience with PostgreSQL
- Understands REST APIs and database integration
- Is comfortable learning and working with real-time technologies
- Has good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Can work effectively with designers and developers
- Is willing to work from our Aminjikarai, Chennai office
- Immediate joiners are preferred
