About the Role

Career Fixx is looking for a creative and hands-on Content Creator who enjoys being in front of and behind the camera. The ideal candidate should be confident in shooting videos, creating reels, writing simple content ideas, and editing videos using mobile editing applications.

This is a content creation role, not a digital marketing or marketing executive position. We are specifically looking for someone who can independently create engaging video content for our social media channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and social media videos.
- Plan and develop creative video concepts based on given topics.
- Be comfortable appearing on camera and presenting content when required.
- Shoot videos using a mobile phone/camera with good framing, lighting and audio.
- Edit short-form videos using CapCut, InShot, VN, Canva or similar mobile editing apps.
- Add captions, subtitles, transitions, music, effects and text overlays to videos.
- Create engaging hooks and video openings to improve viewer retention.
- Repurpose existing content into reels, shorts and other short-form formats.
- Follow current content and reel trends and adapt them creatively.
- Maintain consistency in the visual and creative style of the brand.
- Work closely with the team to understand the topic and convert it into engaging video content.
- Manage the complete content creation process from idea → shooting → editing → final video.

Requirements





- 1–3 years of experience in content creation, video creation or social media content production.
- Strong knowledge of mobile video editing is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with CapCut, InShot, VN, Canva or similar editing apps.
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh video ideas.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable appearing on camera when required.
- Basic knowledge of shooting, framing, lighting and audio.
- Ability to create content independently and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio/showreel of previous content or reels is preferred.

We are hiring a Content Creator who can CREATE, SHOOT and EDIT content - not someone whose primary expertise is running marketing campaigns or paid advertisements.
