Roles and Responsibilities:

· Performing role of Chemical Engineer as Environmental Auditor in GPCB and Handling GPCBs Online portal for Environmental Auditing

· Performing role of field engineering, Based on GPCB guideline and EPA act ensuring WWT plant with respect to GPCB norms.

· Coordination of environmental Sampling for water and wastewater, sludge, ambient air, stack & Noise, Hygiene, Work zone and Indoor air quality monitoring

· Collecting data/evidence as per CPCB guidelines coordinate with Client and Compiling final Environmental Audit Report (EAR) and providing an end-to-end solution incorporating environmental aspects, including the collection of data on Wastewater (WW), Ambient Air Quality Monitoring (AAQM), Solid/ Hazardous Waste Management (SHWM) and liquid waste management in accordance with state and central government guidelines.

· Attending the meeting/training at GPCB and facing the audit as and when required

· Execution of Environmental audit work as per the schedule in line with scope of work and as per guidelines issued by statutory authorities

· Discuss the problems/issues during audit and try to resolve with related solution based on current situation of project Site.

· Preparation and presentation of Environmental audit Reports as per GPCB Guidelines

· Prepare and submit audit reports mass balance, material balance and water balance of individual units manufacturing/ processing units and to make such recommendation as they may think fit for improvement of the existing environmental management system.

· Preparing EMMP for clients, present EMMP to clients,



seeking approval of clients on EMMP and ensure proper implantation of EMMP by field team.

· Report compilation.

· Conducting environment audits and should be recognized schedule – I or II auditors recognized by GPCB.

· Environment monitoring / Offshore Monitoring must be required.

· Operating and Maintaining field equipment’s for smooth working.

· Familiar with the sample collection techniques for Ambient air, stack emissions, soil and water.

Area of Expertise:

· Knowledge of environmental auditing of an industry including a systematic, documented, periodic, and objective evaluation of how well the environment management systems are performing with the aim of: Waste prevention and reduction, assessing compliance with regulatory requirements, facilitating control of workplace practices by a company management and placing environmental information in the public domain.

· Knowledge of Environmental Management System which shall include waste treatment plants, equipment’s and processes for liquid effluents, air emissions, noise, solid wastes and other pollutants. Also, collection, treatment, conveyance and disposal system for such wastes and other pollutants

· Knowledge of all the environmental laws, rules and regulations in India

Desired Qualification and Experience:

· A person possessing a degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology awarded by a recognized University or Institute in India or abroad with at least 2-3 years’ experience as Environmental/ Process Auditor.

Professional Skills:

· MS office (MS word, Excel, Power Point), Internet, emails etc.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
