Key Responsibilities

Manage complete day-to-day operations of the bus depot.

Ensure 100% scheduled bus deployment and minimize trip loss.

Monitor fleet availability, trip achievement and KM performance.

Prepare and monitor driver/captain duty rosters and manpower deployment.

Ensure adequate staff availability and control absenteeism, late reporting and unauthorized leave.

Monitor overtime and double-duty deployment.

Coordinate with Maintenance/Technical teams for vehicle availability and breakdown management.

Ensure preventive maintenance and timely rectification of vehicle defects.

Monitor bus fitness, permits, insurance and other statutory documents.

Handle RTO-related work, vehicle fitness, permits, inspections and compliance.

Ensure compliance with road safety procedures and company SOPs.

Monitor accidents, breakdowns and operational incidents and ensure timely RCA/reporting.

Handle passenger complaints and ensure timely resolution.

Monitor depot cleanliness, security and infrastructure.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational MIS and performance reports.





Monitor key KPIs including fleet availability, trip loss, KM achievement, staff availability, breakdown and safety.

Monitor fuel/energy consumption and support cost-control initiatives.

Coordinate with government authorities, transport authorities and other stakeholders.

Lead, supervise and motivate depot operational teams.

Ensure discipline, service quality and uninterrupted public transport operations.

Candidate Profile

5–8 years of experience in public bus transport / fleet / depot operations.

Experience in managing a bus depot or large fleet operation preferred.

Solid knowledge of manpower planning, bus operations and fleet management.

Knowledge of RTO and statutory transport compliance.

Good command of MS Excel and operational MIS.

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle operational pressure and emergency situations.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
